why we built Illuminate + III Ventures Platform
Some of the most important companies in the world started with a great idea. But ideas alone don't build companies. Capital does. Execution does. Infrastructure does. Having the right people in the room matters.

I've led as a CEO, operated across industries, and sat in boardrooms. I've been the youngest, I've been the only woman in the room, more times than I can count. I've seen brilliant founders, diverse voices, undeniable ideas, get passed over. It was not that the market was wrong or the product was flawed and yet the capital, infrastructure, and execution required to build a lasting company wasn't aligned when it mattered most.
